PICNIC IN THE PARK
This weather is certainly picnic weather! Lets hope it is still as good next week. We will have our gazebo up so look out for the bunting.
DATE: 16th August
PLACE : outside Valence House
TIME: 12 noon - 2pm onwards
Please bring along your food, drink, chairs and/or picnic blanket. You can of course use the Oasis cafe to buy some food and drink if you wish.
If you have any games that you think we could manage to get to grips with please bring them along as well!!
MACMILLAN TEA/COFFEE AFTERNOON
Don't forget that on saturday the 23rd of August Sheila is hosting an afternoon tea to raise funds for Macmillan Nurses.

FAMILY HISTORY DAY AT VALENCE HOUSE
We will be running a stall for this event which is on 30th of August. It will be mainly a publicity event but we will need members to volunteer a bit of time to man/woman the stall between 10am and 4pm.
We are going to be running a raffle and would appreciate any good quality donations. Let us know and we can come and pick them up!
We are also going to be having some knitting, crocheting and sewing going on and people can join in.
