January 2nd 2018

Happy New Year everyone!
Well 2018 is upon us, where did 2017 go?  We had a good year last year and lets hope that this one will be even better. Our meeting on Wednesday will allow us to rejoin and catch up with each other. Unfortunately Paulette has got flu so I will be taking over for this meeting.
Please remember to bring along your cup, a bit of craft, a pen and be ready to make a decision about the resolutions!
Donations of cake or biscuits will be welcome as usual.
See you all there.

The hall is on the ground floor with disabled access, ample locked storage, WiFi, a well equipped kitchen and secure parking behind the Centre. Transport links are easily accessible to the Centre which has the facilities to grow as the membership develop our repertoire of activities.

May 2017 Meeting

MAY 3rd 2017

This month is our Annual meeting where we look back at the year and sort out our committee for the next year.  At the moment we have five nominees which is a bit short of our normal eight members that we need. Hopefully some of you might consider putting yourself forward and nominations will be accepted up to the start of the meeting. Being a committee member is an important role but with us all helping each other it is not an onerous task.

Don't forget to bring along something that you have made or shows your interests because if we have time we can have a "show and tell"and talk to each other to get to know each other a bit better.  We also have one of the Essex advisers coming along and explaining a bit about the resolutions before we vote for our For and Against each one.
Please come along to the meeting and put your votes to good use!!

There will of course be the usual tea, coffee and cake!

See you there

Don't forget to bring your mugs and as usual we welcome donations of cakes and biscuits!!

See you on Wednesday and please try and get there before 7pm so that we can start on time.

March 1st 2017

MARCH 1st 2017

Hopefully you are all still wrapping up warm! Winter doesnt seem to have finished yet!  The first signs of spring are with us however. My daffodils are almost flowering and the solitary snowdrop has been out for the last couple of weeks! This month we have Peter Railton coming to talk to us about gardening which will get us all thinking about our gardens and eager to get out there!

February 1st 2017

FEBRUARY 1st  2017

This month we are welcoming a representative from the London Air Ambulance.  This should be a very informative and useful talk. We don't know when we might need this very valuable service and they rely on donations to keep going so we need to support them!

Don't forget to bring your cup or mug and donations of cake or biscuits are always welcomed!

Looking forward to seeing you all next week.
