Pending any further announcements from Boris, we hope to see you all at our next meeting on January 5th.

The programme will include a short presentation about the resolutions that we are to vote for, a 10-to-15-minute keep fit session with Jackie and a gift swap session. Please bring along any items that were surplus to your needs that may be of use to others.

There will be ample time to socialise and discuss our future arrangements.

Wishing you all a very happy and healthy New Year.

We welcome new members  and your first visit is free.

Next Meeting: Wednesday December 8th at 7 pm.

Bonnie will be leading us in our Christmas floral displays and there will be a quiz for anyone not participating in this activity.

Tea, coffee and a few treats will be available as usual.

Thank you to all who contributed to or help run our stall at the Victorian Frost Fair on Sunday.

Next Meeting Wednesday 3rd November at 7 pm.

We will be welcoming Ralph and Carl, a singing duo, to entertain us. You are invited to join in the sing along for our postponed VE day celebrations.
This is another opportunity for us to dress up (not mandatory) in WWII/land girl outfits.

Tea and coffee will be available during the break (don't forget your cups), any cake contributions would be appreciated, Frances has volunteered to organise a cake rota for future meetings so please see her if you are able to help.

This will also be your last opportunity to book yourself in for our December Christmas wreath/table decoration.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Wreath or flower table display with Bonnie.

Attend a Christmas concert at Southwark cathedral.

Visit Romford Dogs.

Please amend your diaries.

Our meeting scheduled for 1st December has had to be postponed to the 8th. In order for the Duo to be able to entertain us, Cheryl has been able to swap them to 3rd November and Bonnie will now give her floristry demonstration on 8th December. We apologise for this change.

The theme for our next meeting on  6th October is ABBA.

We welcome visitors and new members to this meeting.

Fish and Chip Supper, Thursday 2nd September at 7 pm.

Hello Everyone

The good news is that we are no longer restricted by attendance numbers and that we can all get together again with fewer Covid restrictions. Masks and sanitiser will be available for your use when moving about around the hall.

The fish and chips are due to arrive at 7.30 pm along with sachets of salt and vinegar. If you have a favourite sauce then you are welcome to bring that along. Please bring your own cutlery and a mug for tea or coffee. Yes, the kitchen is now available!

Those members or visitors who have not booked fish and chips are welcome to bring along their own supper.

This will be a relaxing social evening for all to catch up.

See you there.

Dora

Thank you to all who donated items or helped to run our stall at the Becontree 100 Festival. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Photo taken by Maureen.

 Annual Meeting 7th July 2021

Hello Everyone.

Yes, it's been a long time coming but we will be back at Ripple Centre on Wednesday 7th July 2021.

We will start at 7 pm so please arrive about 10 minutes early to allow time to sign in.

I am so sorry, but due to Covid restrictions there is only capacity for 30 so do not turn up if you have not had your registration confirmed as you will not be allowed in. Sadly, visitors and guests can not be invited on this occasion either.

Further details will be emailed to members.

 Hello Everyone!

I hope that you are all keeping well and looking forward to returning to Ripple Hall, hopefully, in July when we plan to have a social get together. All details will be emailed to members.

In the meantime all our groups will continue to meet on Zoom, and fingers crossed, in the park in the near future.

Subscriptions (£34) are due in April.

Enjoy the Spring sunshine in between the showers!

Best wishes

Dora
